Jump Cups

Our jump cups are manufactured to meet FEI/USEA specifications. The depth of the cups is 20mm for stable support. When used with the octagonal rails in the Thompson Equestrian Jump System, contact by the horse creates a quick and positive rail release from the standards. This optimizes rider and horse safety in the event of contact.

The jump cups are constructed from 2.5mm (1/8”) mild steel, and coated with a black powder adhesive for a durable, long-lasting finish.

Each cup is equipped with a 12mm (1/2”) diameter pin, which is tapered for ease of insertion through the cup and post. The pin is attached to the cup with 3/16” polyplastic cord. The cord is long enough for the pin to be inserted from either side of the cup.

Each cup has two sets of 15mm-diameter holes for alignment and adjustment of height.
